An automated VMware process designed to re-balance cluster storage resulted in a large increase in network traffic. This may have caused some servers to respond slowly and therefore affecting services and websites.
A work around has been implemented to prevent further disruption of this nature and we will continue to monitor closely.
We have encountered an issue overnight with our Vmware cloud platform affecting some cloud customers. This is being investigated as a priority.
