Planned Maintenance

Description of Work

We are migrating various core servers to our new DCN3 data centre.

Time and date

• Start: 19:00 22 July 2025
• Finish: 23:00 22 July 2025

Anticipated Impact

The following customer-facing services will be disrupted during the maintenance period:

• Authoritative DNS: The primary nameserver (ns.cwcs.co.uk) and record editing will be unavailable. Queries will continue to be handled by the secondary nameserver (ns2.cwcs.co.uk).
• Barraucda spam firewall
• Caching DNS: dnscache3.cwcs.co.uk (91.215.187.50) will be unavailable. Other DNS caches will still be available.
• R1Soft: access to the web interface will be unavailable, but backups will continue to run.
• Zabbix monitoring
